Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand!

The Food & Nutrition Services Department is made up of a team of nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods.

Free & Reduced Meal Applications - Most PVUSD schools receive breakfast and lunch for free without a meal application.  Only the following schools need to fill out meal applications :

Bradley Elementary
Mar Vista Elementary
Rio Del Mar Elementary
Valencia Elementary
Linscott Charter
Watsonville Charter School for the Arts
Aptos Junior High
Aptos High
Pacific Coast Charter

2019-20 School Year

We will be starting new 2019-20 meal applications on Monday July 29 at the PVUSD District Office Board Room:

Monday, July 29         10am - 6pm
Tuesday, July 30        10am - 6pm
Wednesday, July 31   10am - 6pm
Thursday, Aug 1        10am - 6pm
Friday, Aug 2              8am - 3pm
